Dr Michael Orphanides is a full time GP at Mascot Medical and Dental Centre, 934-936 Botany Road Mascot.
He attended The University of Sydney and graduated in 1990 with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Subsequently, he worked in a number of hospitals in and around Sydney, obtaining a broad range of medical knowledge and experience.
After stints at practices in Port Kembla and Randwick, Dr Michael has spent the last 20 years at Mascot Medical and Dentre Centre. This is a large ten-doctor practice. Dr Michael works full days on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. He sees primarily patients that have made an appointment.
Dr Michael has broad medical interests and deals will all medical issues. In particular, he enjoys paediatrics, cardiology and women's health. He is involved in Shared Antenatal Care with the Royal Hospital for Women (Randwick), King George V Hospital (Camperdown) and St George Hospital (Kogarah).
Happily married with two daughters, Dr Michael enjoys swimming, walking and being a football/netball dad at his daughters' matches.
He is a passionate supporter of Manchester United Football Club.
When time allows, he likes to holiday on the South Coast of NSW and in the French Riviera.
